Manual Adobe AVX2 Patch - Stop-by-Step Instructions

My executable and source code is now on GitHub but you can use a less fancy but equally effective method.

Manually edit one installer file with Notepad. No extra tools needed.
It works the same way as my patcher would – just without the fancy interface.

1. Get the offline installer for the Adobe product you want (e.g., Photoshop 2026).
2. Locate Set-up.exe and go into the subfolder: \products\PHSP\ (for Photoshop – other products have similar short names).
3. Open application.json with Notepad.
4. Press Ctrl+H (or go to Edit → Replace).
5. Find: avx2 and replace with: avx, then click Replace All.
6. Save the file.
7. Run Set-up.exe normally to install.
