Internal to External Testing

• From PC0 (Multilayer Switch2), open command prompt
• Enter: ping 8.8.8.8
• Verify ping is successful through ASA
• Enter: tracert 8.8.8.8
• Verify traffic traverses through Router1, Router1, and ASA

NAT Verification

Connect to ASA via console
Enter: show xlate
Verify NAT translations exist for internal hosts
Enter: show conn count
Verify active connections through firewall
