koffi vNext release?

It seems like koffi.address(typedArray) and config.fast_pointers exist on master, but aren't in the latest release from 2 days ago. When do you expect to release these? It would be super helpful; bun:ffi has equivalents and I'm trying to port a library from bun:ffi to nodejs w/ koffi.

The releases come from the koffi2 branch, with the master branch containing code for the upcoming 3.0, with some breaking changes:

• BigInt pointers by default (but setting fast_pointers = false will use 2.0-like external objects)
• Type objects will be actual objects, removing the need for koffi.introspect() (which will become a noop).

Also, the ABI code has been changed a lot to use a bytecode interpreter (tail-call based where possible), for better performance. This is not finished, because the ARM32 and RISCV64 code has not been ported yet, and thus does not compile at the moment.

Hopefully within a month it will be finished and Koffi 3.0 will release!

By the way, it seems Node.js mainline has a pr open for a node:ffi module which also uses bigint pointers. Unfortunately they don't seem to provide a koff.address(typedArray) -> bigint equivalent which is lamentable, and are targeting many fewer platforms than koffi's impressive reach: nodejs/node#62072
