I am just starting to use moonfin, got the Plugin installed on jellyfin and plan on using it via roku as my main jellyfin interaction method. I installed it from the roku store, got it connected to my jellyfin server and got seerr integration working. I have multiple roku in my house all on the same network. It seems like when I sign in on one TV, all the other tvs in the house revert to needing to quick connect again. Is that expected behavior? Also, is the moonfin roku client setup to grab the preferences (theme etc) from the jellyfin server? I see the option, but it doesn't seem to do anything for me. |

For the signin issue, can you check in settings if auto log in is enabled? For settings sync, it doesn't grab settings from jellyfin (except default audio/subtitles settings). Theme, layout, and everything else is synced with moonbase, the plugin you installed to set up the seerr connection. It allows 2 things:

Automatic sign in is enabled , I have checked that on all of the TVs and it is enabled on all of them. It does stay signed in if i do not log into another TV. Have not tried not messing with it and seeing if it stays logged in after a day or so though. (And with the settings, I see via the web client on my phone the different toggle, mobile/tv/etc. I'll play with that thanks!) |

This is very bizarre. Coudl you log into your Jellyfin admin panel dashboard and click on Users: 
Then the 3-dots menu for your account. In that page, look for this setting at the bery bottom:

Test #2, logging into different tv heading to 55S21 log into moonfin using quickconnect Relevant logs: Result: first TV wants me to use quickconnect again. Jellyfin app has remained logged in, moonfin is one showing oddities |

Also potentially relevant: Jellyfin is running within a proxmox LXC. All tvs and proxmox jellyfin node are on the same internal network. I am connecting to jellyfin directly using it's IP address, not through my reverse proxy |

Ok. Tried killing a session for a TV via jellyfin dashboard and logging into that tv with moonfin only: Jellyfin still only sees 0.0.0.0 coming from that moonfin roku. hrmm edit: doh. device list is showing Moonfin (Roku) 0.0.0, which is not an ip address. I misread. |

Also, installed this from the roku app store, so it downloaded to each tv automagically not sideloaded. Did not have File Transformation plugin, installing and trying now |

file transofrmation plugin just adds a little moonfin icon on the jf web home page to open the moonfin web ui, it won't impact this issue are you having similar experiences with "logging out" on other jellyfin clients besides moonfin? or on moonfin but not roku (phone, desktop, etc)? |

I just saw you're using quick connect? there was a login/quick connect fix in the 1.5.1 update that released last week, can you try updating and seeing if that fixes your issue? |

Created a new user and tried with non-default user, confirm issue persists with new user |

Tried not using quick connect; issue goes away! if you login with username/password, it seems to work just fine. Logs for when i was using quick connect: Logs when it was working: |

Updated Issue #241 with new logs and analysis. I suspect the root cause is a failure to uniquely identify each device while using quick connect, causing Jellyfin to think a new login session from the same device is being attempted, and as a security measure logs out the old session, possibly to avoid collisions in a database or something. Workaround (i suppose) is just to use Username/Password for now if using multiple devices and experiencing this error. |
