Hello! Discovered this software 1 hour ago as I needed to make captions on a video. Awesome work (looks like I was lucky to arrive just in time for the v5), the interface is very intuitive and it was very easy to make and organize subtitles. There is just one thing I find missing: a control (or shortcut entry) to move the start of the selected subtitle to the current video position. I went though the list of shortcuts and could not find anything like this, but maybe I missed it? (Also, I noticed I was not able to move a subtitle before the previous one or after the next one. I am guessing it is a technical limitation because of line numbers, but being able to still move them around and have line numbers reorganize automatically could be a nice improvement...) Thanks again! |

The shortcut you're looking for is Ctrl + Shift + K - it sets the start time of the selected subtitle to the current video position. You can also find and customize all shortcuts under Options -> Settings -> Shortcuts. |
