For tutorial 0, you can do all your work on your computer and submit it to Google Classroom.
Link to classroom or through class code: wtzrvtih.
We will grade the submitted assignments after the deadline (A mix of auto and manual). There will be some hidden test cases so make sure your code can handle all kinds of valid inputs.
To compile and run the homework properly, you will need to use the GCC compiler. (Well, like tbh you don't need it 100% because you can do it on like GitHub Codespaces or any online IDE but then you'll need gcc/g++ for COMP2011 and COMP2012 anyway so like why not install now and complain later)
Here are some guides on how to get it running:
- For Windows/Linux users:
- Markdown Guide from 2024 (For Windows)
- VSCode's official documentation (For Linux and Windows) (For god's sake please don't use clang .-.)
- For Mac users:
Starting from tutorial 1, your work will require the use of the mainboard, so to complete your homework you'll have to come to us to borrow one.\
Attached below is a Google Sheets link where you can see the availability of team members. You can come borrow a mainboard and work at the lab whenever there is at least one member present. After you're done with your homework, please show a team member and they'll grade it for you.
