Auto-editor cutting video prematurely

I have the version 28.0.2 on Mac OS m1 and noticed that this version has been cutting videos prematurely cutting off dialog near the end of a clip. I have been playing around with the settings in OBS for screen video capture and have it set to CRF, Apple HEVC hardware encoder and .mkv to .mp4 for export options. I have tried using the .mkv file or the .mp4 file with the same result of some parts of audio sometimes getting chopped off at the end. Any suggestions?

Was there a version that was working correctly?
Have you tried increasing the margin?

I am not sure if their was a previous version was working correctly. I believe I previously used a lower audio bitrate in OBS such as 128 and now have been using 320. It just seems that I am catching lots of stuff where it is cutting audio while I'm talking and I have to expand the timeline in Davinci Resolve to correct.

Yes increasing the margin seems to help but even when I put .50sec I still see some clips that are cut right next to the audio. Is there someplace I can check if maybe the video cutting is turned off for non moving scenes? I just want to disable anything related to video and just focus on cutting audio silence. If I run something like auto-editor xxx.mp4 --export resolve, what are the default options that auto-editor does?

Only audio loudness is considered by default.

I think I figured it out. I recently started recording at a lower gain level and the dynamic microphone already has a low level so Auto-editor was removing so much stuff. I did the following and it seems like it is resolved now:
auto-editor 3.mp4 --edit audio:-40dB --export resolve
