🧭 Apple Silicon hardware directory
Pick a generation. Open your product. Find your board.
25 hardware threads · 59 board configurations · A18 and M1–M6
Each product has one discussion per silicon generation. Screen sizes, port configurations and Pro / Max / Ultra variants live together in its board table.

Important
Aurora Linux is the support baseline. All 25 product discussions / 59 board configurations were refreshed on October 16, 2026 against public PRs, source and named-board reports. Source, feature-branch results and complete-system qualification remain separate.

linux/aurora-wip@f53454ba0da1andm1n1/aurora-wip@f3ac615eb137, with open and feature-branch work identified per product. PR states, destination branches, source contents and follow-up hardware reports were checked; no fresh hardware test was run for this update.CPU-frequency, USB
aurora-wip; 🟠 Mesa ray tracing / mesh / sparse on branchagx3bonlyfeat/sepreport with intermittent init; 🔵 board nodes for all six M1 laptops; J314C/J316C untestedasahi.confignow selects the driver; 🟢 J293/J314S autosuspend reports; Ultra disabledasahi.confignow selects the driver; 🟢 selected-chip reports; base/Ultra disabled🔵 means implementation is integrated in the pinned source; 🟢 means a cited hardware report for a named board and build. Neither marker automatically qualifies every feature on every sibling board. Open PR results remain development work; merged rows identify the destination and actual source integration. The product matrices above contain exact board exceptions, branch states and source links.

aurora-wip; Mesa ray tracing, mesh shaders and sparse resources are on branchagx3bonly. Speaker playback, standby power and a completed public install remain unqualified.asahi.config, more Touch ID board nodes and T600x/T602x PCIe-C cold init intoaurora-wip. linux #328 merged intoaurora-wip-rebase, notaurora-wip.aurora-wipgained upstream M3 Pro/Max SoC support. J613 has an m1n1 stage 1 boot report in open m1n1 #31 on a downstream kernel. A J516S GPU desktop is reported on a non-public kernel, so the public M3 GPU gap remains.mainnow carries its bootloader work and U-Boot still leaves its MTP cold. A T6050 (M5 Pro/Max) guest series under the Aura monitor (linux #238, linux #241–linux #257) is open and build-tested only; it names no board.main, and linux #194 is inaurora-wip.Find a board

M5 identity mapping: The Apple Wiki currently lists T6050 for M5 Pro, M5 Max and M5 Ultra. This directory retains those marketing variants on each board. The shared catalogue ID is not evidence of identical dies, firmware, drivers or support.
How to read this tracker
Implementation, a successful build, a hardware test, and a usable complete system are separate milestones. Results on a sibling board do not automatically apply here. Open PRs are development work, not merged-release support.
