background: i'm using darwin in qemu under linux, and my 9p mount works for a while, then hangs.
after that point i can't even shut down the vm properly, and if i mess around long enough it brings down my entire X session.
i was looking for a fix/update, and i found this project, but i had no idea whether i should proceed to install it, or it would be a hopeless endeavor.
