eqmac creating presets

I hope I'm in the right place, please let me know if this question should be posted somewhere else. But this is the only place I've found where questions about eqmac are posted and i can't find a manual anywhere (please let me know if there is one somewhere).
I'm trying to create EQ presets. I've got a pro license, just downloaded the software yesterday (there's no "about" so I don't know the software version) and I'm running tahoe on a mac mini.
What I want to do is create several EQ presets so I can rapidly switch between them which allows me to easily compare how they sound. I don't need to use Super Presets (which seem to allow different EQs for different output devices) because I will be listening on one device for all the EQs I set up.
Based on some posts that I read what I've been doing is

1. Deselect any presets. It shows No Preset selected
2. set up some EQ settings
3. click + and create a new preset. Let's call it Preset-1
4. deselect the preset
5. set up some other EQ settings
6. click + and create Preset-2
   Now I would think that if I select Preset-1 I should get the EQ for Preset-1. And if I then select Preset-2 I would get the EQ for Preset-2. But it doesn't seem to work that way.
   Selecting Preset-1 or Preset-2 just leaves me with whatever EQ was set at the time I selected one of them.

Note that when I create the preset I get the Super Presets pop up and I do not select Autoswitching or notify when Autoswitching. I'm not interested in Autoswitching. I want to manually switch between 2 or more presets.
But anyway, I get the same behavior when I select Autoswitching.

BTW I've tried this in Manual and 31 bands.

Maybe what I want to do can't be done. Which is inconvenient for me, but I will find a way to live with it.

But if someone can either point me to the documentation or tell me how to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

The app version is available in top right corner if you click on the question mark button.

The presets you want to use for this case are the ones straight above the equalizer/bands control, what you're using now are Super Presets which save more (like spatial audio selection, extra effects selection and some layout settings plus the auto switching option), but the edits you're making are being done to the bands preset therefore both presets you created reference the same band preset (super preset saves and references the preset for EQ, not the individual bands).

Also you don't need to deselect a preset, just create new one, it will copy current setup and just make changes as needed.

Which leaves my more general question. Is there a manual or any documentation of how this app works. There are a lot of great features and I'm starting to find (and appreciate) all the great features, but it would be really helpful to read an overview of how eqmac works.

Anyway, thanks for pointing out that those were presets. I thought they were just controls of how many bands were in the equalizer and the modes.

Unfortunately there's no documentation of all features for now, only a small help centre with some basics like how to fully uninstall, how to assign licenses etc
