Specify an alternative source for the clangd installation

At my company we have our own fork of clangd and would like to install clangd from our repository instead of the public one.
Currently the location where clangd is installed from is hardcoded to the clangd repository.

Is it be possible to specify another source for the installation somehow?

It looks like there's a function that overrides the Github releases URL, and it's exported -- perhaps that's sufficient?
