Why was the note list location option removed in v7? #1868

I dislike the 3 column layout - sidebar, note list, note details - and instead like to have my note list above the note details. This was an option prior to v7, but has been removed in v7 forcing a 3 column layout. If you hide the sidebar, it's still a side-by-side layout as opposed to a top-bottom layout. Why was this option removed, and is there any possibility it could be restored in a future release? For now, I've downgraded to v6. How I like it arranged:

Because it was a limited version of a vertical list of notes that no one had bothered to finish over the years. I'm not going to bring it back and complicate an already complicated configuration. |

Disappointed to read it won't be coming back, i'll also go back to V6. I liked a thin top down composition. The 'Notational Velocity' approach is great. Forcing a 2-3 column layout means we're not making the best use of the screen real estate anymore. FSNotes allowing me to do this was one of the biggest reasons I moved to it, feels like Bear or SimpleNote now |
