Upgrade for compatibility with flutter_chat_ui 2.x.x

The current available version of flutter_supabase_chat_core is compatible with flutter_chat_ui 1.x.x (latest 1.6.15) and not the 2.x.x versions.

There seems to be a lot of behind-the-scenes changes such that I cannot seem to adopt the provided examples in a way that work with flutter_chat_ui 2.11.1.

Are there any plans to update flutter_supabase_chat_core to make it compatible with the latest flutter_chat_ui versions?

Hello @matthew-nm, thank you for your interest. Yes, I have started a partial migration to use flutter_chat_ui 2.x.x. I haven't finished yet, but I think I will be able to finish by the end of February at the earliest, as I am very busy.

Much appreciated! I have implemented the older iteration into my app and look forward to upgrading to v2.x.x in the future.

I’m also implementing a migration tool so we can migrate the old database.
