My apologies if this is the wrong spot to post this.
I just came across JBang, and it's great! I'm trying to integrate with IntelliJ IDEA. I'm not able to get code completion to work, and dependencies in the file do not appear as part of the IntelliJ build system (but the script itself still works with JBang). Here's my setup:
IntelliJ IDEA 2026.1.3
JBang IntelliJ plugin 0.25.2
JBang version 0.139.3 (installed with SDKMan)
This is an example
Test.javascript:I can run this with
jbang Test.javaon the command line and it works.I can run this in IntelliJ with the "JBang" configuration, and it works.
The problem is that in the code editor the
importstatement is showing as red, as well as theStringUtilsin themainmethod. It says it cannot resolve the symbols. It seems like I either have set something up incorrectly, or there is some integration issue between the JBang script and IntelliJ's build system that handles auto complete.Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
