works great until sleep then restart is necessary

when i send the mac to sleep and start it again the sound is choppy until i restart the mac. Any idea what could solve the issue? I tried closing BackgroundMusic and start it again, switching between the adio output but those things do not solve it

restart audio driver by typing:
sudo killall coreaudiod

works.
