How can I tunnel ports over SSH (-L)?

I've tried playing around with Custom Commands and can't seem to get it to work. I'm trying to route traffic from my remote server to my localhost. For example, if I were trying to VNC (over port 5901), an SSH command I would run in a terminal would look like ssh <username>@<address> -p <port> -L 5901:localhost:5901. I just don't really understand how to get the app to achieve this. Please help. Thank you in advance.

If this isn't a feature, I would like to suggest that it become possible to achieve this (at least with some custom command stuff), as this is the main reason I like dedicated SSH apps. To easily save and organize the port tunnels I use to communicate with (software) servers I haven't exposed to the internet yet.
