They don't have a Sunshine repo, so I don't think I can claim copyright on any of their repos. |

Hello!
DuoStream appears to be a pretty obvious copy of Sunshine, and they are not following the GPL. I asked about this on their GitHub on issue 630.
I'm sure nobody has the stomach for a lawsuit. That's a lot of work.
It's also true that GitHub does not police license issues. I understand why they won't; it's a quagmire and their section 230 immunity makes their choice clear.
However, it seems clear that since DuoStream hasn't followed the license, that they are posting sunshine (e.g. Sunshine.exe, part of the DuoStream install), without a license. That's copyright violation.
GitHub is located in America, and they are required to respond to a DMCA takedown request.
Any of the copyright holders in Sunshine - could file one at essentially zero cost, and DuoStream would lose their hosting.
I'm happy to help any copyright holder who wishes to do this. If I'm not mistaken, that's any committee, basically.
I'm sorry if this has been discussed to death, please let me know.
