Only available as a temporary location #4559

Alright, fixed thanks to someone from the CachyOS Discord! Sorry for the not so useful post, and hopefully it may help someone facing the same issue :) Of course, now instead it goes "Failed to create directory/file" which isn't much better, but it's progress! |

This was solved by merely trying to create the Bottle again. What followed were difficulties launching the Rockstar Launcher (it kept giving CEF crashes), which itself was solved by ignoring soda/caffe and using ProtonGE instead. So if anyone has the same predicament... it's all good. :) |

Hello! :)
I've just installed Bottles, since it's apparently the only Linux launcher that would work for a piece of software I want to use. Cool! I installed the flatpak, and... I instantly faced an issue.
I have multiple drives mounted. The main drive is small and only for OS files (/boot and such), and simple apps.
However, I tend to have bigger pieces of software installed on other drives. I have a 1 Tb one for games, for instance.
Problem is: when trying to create a Bottle, if I have the audacity of trying to pick anything else than the default location, it keeps telling me "This folder is only available as a temporary location and would be lost after a reboot. Please a...".

Permissions were given, via flatpak override --user com.usebottles.bottles so it's a mystery.
There are thus a few things I wonder!
Thanks :)
