Can you share a bit more of what you are observing? I may be misunderstanding your description, but I am not able to reproduce a problem with the Packages Pane tracking the active session: switch-session-packages-pane.movCan you share more detail on, say, the Python session you are using and how you are trying to switch? |

If the Python interpreter is selected in the upper right-hand corner and a script file is added, it can then be executed successfully. However, in the Activity bar of packages are selected only Packages-R appears, the active interpreter in upper right hand corner and the console interpreter flips to R4.6.1. A number of attempts to get the python packages to appear through selection of the Packages icon in the Activity bar. However, in terminal >pip list yields the list of python packages available.
