Discuss an outright ban on AI-generated and AI-assisted PR contributions to WG crates.

AI/LLM generated code can likely not be copyrighted, and thus cannot be licensed under MIT/Apache/GPL/etc.

AI/LLM generated code also comes with an endorsement of the LLM industry which is explicitly toxic toward the FOSS movement, and to professional programming in general. Where the omission of AI/LLM contributions allows for all WG crate users to utilize the crates.

Backporting rust-embedded/heapless@73261bd to heapless 0.7 and 0.8

The Awesome Embedded Rust list has had a couple of probably AI-generated PRs in the last couple of days to add promotional stuff for non-Embedded-Rust "but related" services. I'm happy to close them by hand for now, but if it starts to become a flood we may have to think about how to deal with it.

Want to continue discussion of #915 on talking to the Project folks. So far I'm the only one posting there; would love to have some feedback and more thoughts from others.

I probably won't be at the meeting due to work.

• aarch64 has two big PRs from me for Cortex-R82 and MPU support which have been there for a while. I know the second one needs updates to rename the CI jobs back as they were, but hopefully I can get some input on the main idea of the PR (adding a new aarch64-pmsa-rt crate that works like the aarch32-rt crate).
