Installation

Homebrew

Binary

Download from Releases.

Script

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AntTheLimey/pgecloudctl/main/install.sh | sh

Installs the binary and (if Claude Code is detected) the Claude Code skill.

Quick Start

# Authenticate
pgecloudctl auth login

# List clusters
pgecloudctl clusters list

# Get JSON output for scripting / AI agents
pgecloudctl clusters list -o json

Authentication

Create an API client in the pgEdge Cloud UI under Settings > Client. Then either:

# Interactive login (stores credentials locally)
pgecloudctl auth login

# Or use environment variables (CI/automation)
export PGEDGE_CLIENT_ID="your-client-id"
export PGEDGE_CLIENT_SECRET="your-client-secret"

pgecloudctl includes built-in AI agent support:

• llms.txt — structured command reference at the repo root for AI discoverability
• Claude Code skill — installed automatically with the install script. Teaches Claude Code to manage pgEdge Cloud resources via pgecloudctl
• Workflow recipes — step-by-step guides in docs/workflows/ for common multi-step operations
• doctor command — environment diagnostics for AI self-troubleshooting (pgecloudctl doctor -o json)

Global Flags

--api-url	API base URL (default: api.pgedge.com)
