Upgrade PawWork from DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 to 0.2.1-rc.4 (pi-ai 1.4.0), the latest RC. Electron moves to 44.7.0, which upstream's desktop app locks. The upstream primary-runtime lock is unchanged. The app release version is unchanged.
Patches
dsh-mcp-client: applies unchanged.
dsh-llm-pi-ai: all four hunks kept. The directory filter is rebased onto catalogProviderIds(). Each hunk was re-checked against 0.2.1-rc.4:
The DeepSeek catalog still lacks the old Flash aliases.
No provider-login wire method exists, so openai-codex is still OAuth-only.
Completions still withholds session affinity.
A local capture shows opencode-go requests carry x-client-request-id.
Electron
node-addon-require-builtin fingerprints the runtime and accepts only 43.0.0, 44.0.0, 44.7.0 and 45.0.0-alpha.6. On 44.9.3 the sidecar exits with unsupported Electron runtime fingerprint. GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 is fixed in 44.9.1, so it is ignored in the audit (auditConfig.ignoreGhsas) until DSH recognises a fixed release.
Upstream changes that needed product follow-up
Each item below was found by running the app on this branch and on main side by side:
Second scheduler.dsh-web-app now mounts schedule and ui-schedule, which gave the agent schedule_* tools beside automation_* and put a second "Automation tasks" entry in the sidebar. Both rows are disabled, and the captured tool list matches main again, plus upstream's new working_directory.
Account menu. It now fills settings.launcher on web: the Settings button became a menu with a "Sign in" that leads nowhere, because the account route stays disabled. ui-settings-account is disabled, which restores the plain Settings button.
Duplicate clock. Agent presets now mount the clock themselves, so PawWork's own time-context insert put the time block into every turn twice. The insert is removed.
web-runtime. Upstream replaced trustedHosts with publicUrl, and the restated row follows.
Session tabs. They now share a row with "More conversation views". The column-alignment rule targets that row, which fixes a 200px title/tab misalignment in the collapsed sidebar.
Sidebar "More" row. Its expanded pitch differs from the collapsed rail, so Add workspace shifts 10px on collapse. PawWork's brand-row override only governs New session, so the smoke now asserts New session alone rather than overriding DSH's spacing.
opencode-go endpoint. pi-ai 1.4 moved opencode-go to opencode.ai/inference/go. The session preload matched only /zen and would have stopped reshaping the conversation id; it now matches both. A test checks every bundled catalog endpoint, and it fails without the fix.
API gateway. It now requires remoteAccess and a calling peer, and the gateway-driven tests provide both.
New test guard: every row id the product patch overrides must still exist upstream.
Security
Bumped compression 1.8.2, http-cache-semantics 4.3.0, sharp 0.35.5, undici 6.29.1 / 7.30.1 / 8.12.3, zod 4.6.7, @modelcontextprotocol/sdk1.32.1 and vite 7.3.7, plus in-range transitive updates. pnpm audit --audit-level high passes. main currently fails it on advisories published since #1698, which is why the open dependabot PRs are red. The Electron advisory GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 is allowed in both pnpm audit and dependency review, because DSH's native addon rejects any Electron outside its fingerprint list, so the fixed 44.9.x cannot ship yet.
Validation
Frozen install, typecheck, lint and build pass, along with 590 Vitest, 122 Node and 10 label-policy tests.
Raw CDP desktop smoke on macOS arm64 (Electron 44.7.0) passes. It covers onboarding, settings sections, automations, Integrations, updater, layout, V1 import, persistence and restart.
Checked side by side against main: outbound request capture (tool list, system prompt), the settings launcher, and sidebar and header geometry.
Upgrading a 0.2.0-rc.2 home keeps its sessions and custom provider. Both versions write session.v4, so the session format is unchanged.
Real-model verification (macOS arm64, raw Electron, CDP)
Run on a temporary home holding a copy of a real profile patch and credential store (no sessions, automations or plugins copied; the original home untouched). Each run was a tool task: write a file, read it back, reply with its content. Each was checked on disk and in the session log.
Adding providers through Settings → Models:
The built-in opencode-go saved with a blank key field, using the stored credential, and registered.
A custom provider ran the full custom-API flow (fetch models, add selected, create) against a local endpoint.
openai-codex is absent from the catalog list.
Built-in opencode-go on the new opencode.ai/inference/go endpoints passed with deepseek-v4.1-flash (Completions) and qwen3.8-flash (Anthropic Messages). A GLM-5.3 run done through the visible UI also passed: picking the model with real mouse events, typing in the composer and pressing Enter. This confirms the gateway accepts the reshaped session id on the new endpoint.
Custom providers:opencode-go-deepseek (Responses, /zen/go/v1) and kimi-coding/k3 both passed.
commandcode-goat reached the endpoint and was authenticated, but the account returned 400 insufficient credits. That is account balance, not app behaviour.
Feature verification (same setup, real model)
Automations:
The model created a one-shot through automation_create, which fired on the minute and wrote its file.
Run now (real mouse click) succeeded.
A 60-second recurring automation did not fire while paused for 100 s, and fired again after resume.
After a restart the run history was intact and the schedule kept firing. Delete removed the automation and kept the history.
Plugins page: a local-directory bundle installed through the sidecar pnpm shim. Enable, hot disable and hot re-enable all applied without a restart. The plugin stayed enabled across a restart, with @pawwork/dsh-bundle moved back to the last bundle slot. Uninstall removed the dependency and the bundle entry.
Web search: the Exa-backed web_search returned live results.
Office skills:
primary-runtime.lock.json matches upstream: the lock is unchanged upstream since 2026-09-18.
With the runtime prepared, office-docx produced a valid .docx via the bundled Python 3.12. Its contents were checked by unzipping it.
Not verified locally
Windows interaction and packaged builds are left to CI.
Old community plugins
Tested on a home laid out like an existing user's: plugins listed as profile bundles and installed with the bundled pnpm 11.23.0.
Versions old homes still hold:dshmarket 1.45.1, dsh-plugin-subscriptions 0.5.3, dsh-better-sidebar 0.17.1 and dsh-mobile 0.3.16 fail DSH 0.2.1's peer-range check. Startup skips them and the app runs normally. The Plugins page marks each as Problem with the reason, and uninstall works (real mouse): it removes the dependency, the bundle entry and node_modules. @liustack/modsearch 5.10.10 loads.
Current releases: these load and run on rc.4:
dshmarket 1.70.2, which adds a Plugin Market tab. 1.71.1 was held back by pnpm's minimumReleaseAge, and the install dialog explains why.
dsh-better-sidebar 0.28.1.
dsh-mobile 0.6.18, which adds a Mobile access entry.
dsh-plugin-subscriptions 0.9.11 is still skipped: its peer ranges list prereleases exactly, up to 0.2.1-rc.3. Until its author adds rc.4, users who have it lose it on upgrade, and nothing crashes.
Move every DSH package from 0.2.0-rc.2 to 0.2.1-rc.4, with
cordis-plugin-group 1.0.5 and schemastery 3.18.5 matching DSH's own
ranges. dsh-invariants and dsh-subagent-in-process-driver are dropped:
0.2.1 no longer publishes or peers on them and nothing here imports them.
pi-ai moves to 1.4.0.
Electron moves to 44.7.0, the version upstream's desktop app locks.
node-addon-require-builtin fingerprints the runtime and only accepts
43.0.0, 44.0.0, 44.7.0 and 45.0.0-alpha.6; on 44.9.3 the sidecar exits
with "unsupported Electron runtime fingerprint". GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9
(fixed in 44.9.1) is therefore ignored in the audit until DSH recognises
a fixed release.
Patches: dsh-mcp-client applies unchanged. dsh-llm-pi-ai keeps all four
hunks; the directory filter is rebased onto catalogProviderIds(). Each is
still needed on 0.2.1-rc.4: the DeepSeek catalog still lacks the old
Flash aliases, no provider-login wire method exists (openai-codex stays
OAuth-only), and Completions still withholds session affinity. A local
capture confirms opencode-go requests carry x-client-request-id.
Upstream changes that needed product follow-up:
- web-runtime: upstream replaced trustedHosts with publicUrl; the
restated row follows.
- dsh-web-app now mounts its own scheduler (schedule, ui-schedule). It
gave the agent schedule_* tools beside automation_* and the sidebar a
second "Automation tasks" entry; both rows are disabled.
- The DeepSeek account menu now fills settings.launcher on web, turning
the Settings button into a menu with a dead "Sign in" (the account
route stays disabled). ui-settings-account is disabled, restoring the
plain Settings button.
- Agent presets now mount the clock themselves. PawWork's own
time-context insert put the time block in every turn twice; removed.
- The session tabs now sit in a row with a "More conversation views"
button, so the column rule targets the row instead of the tablist.
- The sidebar gained a "More" plugins row whose expanded pitch differs
from the collapsed rail, so Add workspace shifts 10px on collapse. The
brand-row override only governs New session; the smoke now asserts
that one alone instead of overriding DSH's spacing.
- pi-ai 1.4 moved opencode-go to opencode.ai/inference/go. The session
preload matched only /zen and would have stopped reshaping the
conversation id; it now matches both, and a test checks every catalog
endpoint.
- The API gateway now requires the remoteAccess service and a calling
peer; the gateway-driven tests mount and pass them.
Test guards: overridden row ids must still exist upstream; the provider
directory check uses the adapter's chat-route rule (pi-ai 1.4 adds the
classifier-only typesafe) and reads the new Typert table format.
Security: compression 1.8.2, http-cache-semantics 4.3.0, sharp 0.35.5,

(--audit-level high) passes; main currently fails it.

The PR updates desktop DSH dependencies and bundle configuration, changes provider compatibility behavior and related tests, narrows sidebar smoke measurements to New session, and updates workspace dependency overrides and audit configuration.
Desktop dependencies and patched DeepSeek package paths move to newer versions. Development dependencies also receive updates.
Bundle composition and mount checks packages/desktop-electron/resources/dsh/bundle/cordis.patch.yml, packages/desktop-electron/src/main/dsh-product-mounts.test.ts
The bundle disables account and scheduling entries, sets the web runtime public URL, removes the time-context entry, and tests overlay patch targets.
Gateway dispatch test context packages/desktop-electron/resources/dsh/automations/lib/automations.test.cjs, packages/desktop-electron/src/main/mcp-oauth.test.ts
Gateway tests install RemoteAccessService and dispatch with an owner peer and abort signal.
Provider directory test expectations packages/desktop-electron/src/main/dsh-provider-directory.test.ts
The tests filter catalog providers by chat-model availability and read wire namespaces from route-table keys.
URL matching accepts /zen/ and /inference/ path prefixes. Tests check catalog endpoints and excluded URLs.
Provider request and catalog behavior patches/@deepseek-ai__dsh-llm-pi-ai@0.2.1-rc.4.patch
The patch enables default session-affinity headers for opencode-go, resolves specified DeepSeek aliases under a matching API origin, and filters catalog providers by API-key auth.

Summary
Audit configuration and overrides pnpm-workspace.yaml, .github/workflows/dependency-review.yml
The workspace updates package overrides and audit configuration. The dependency-review workflow allows the GHSA listed in the workspace audit exception.
The upgrade ships an Electron version with a known advisory, and the author has deliberately accepted that because the DSH native addon does not yet recognize a fixed release. This is mergeable. The workflow exception should record its removal condition so it does not become a permanent bypass.

➖ Delays the DSH upgrade and its compatibility and dependency fixes.
Recommendation: Proceed with the upstream-locked Electron 44.7.0 because DSH’s native addon rejects the available fixed release. Track removal of the narrowly scoped audit exception when DSH supports a fixed Electron; the live OpenCode gateway behavior remains unverified.

Description
auditConfig.ignoreGhsas permanently drops GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 from pnpm audit, and Electron
stays pinned to the vulnerable 44.7.0. Nothing breaks when DSH starts accepting a fixed Electron
(44.9.1+), so the ignore can quietly outlive its reason, and installed copies keep the vulnerable
runtime until someone remembers to bump it by hand.
The ignore entry has no expiry and no linked check. package.json pins electron: 44.7.0, which is
below the 44.9.1 fix named in the comment. No test or CI step ties the ignore to the DSH fingerprint
list, so nothing prompts its removal. Disposition: Follow-up (non-blocking). Taking this risk on
purpose is reasonable while DSH's fingerprint limit holds.
The issue below was found during a code review. Follow the provided context and guidance below and implement a solution
## Issue description
GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 is ignored in the audit with nothing tracking when the ignore should go, while Electron stays on vulnerable 44.7.0.
## Fix Focus Areas
- pnpm-workspace.yaml[17-22]
## Recommended Fix
Smallest local correction: add a tracking issue link (or the DSH release expected to widen the fingerprint list) to the existing comment, so the ignore and the Electron pin are removed together. Don't add new tooling. Remove the entry as part of the next DSH bump that accepts Electron 44.9.1 or later.

💡 Did you know, you can describe a rule in plain language on the Rules page and Qodo drafts it for you
DSH's native addon only accepts the Electron releases in its fingerprint
list, so the fixed 44.9.x cannot ship yet. pnpm audit already ignores
GHSA-jr5w-w6x2-84p9 for the same reason; dependency review needs the
same exception or every PR touching the lockfile fails.

Document the GHSA exception's removal condition.
Electron 44.7.0 is affected, and allow-ghsas bypasses the high-severity check. However, the exception is intentional because DSH does not accept the patched 44.9.1 fingerprint. Keep the exception, but state in the workflow when to remove it and add a tracking reference if one exists.
