…has one current resume point (#168) Kurt: "can you make sure we document everything, have a handoff issue, etc, so I can transfer this work to a new AI/session? add a note to todo.md at the top so it's easy to find." Re-reading state first found the earlier pointers stale. #162 and #165 had merged, #161 was closed, and its leftovers were scattered: some only in a closed issue's comments, one date-bound. TODO.md's Windows note and WAITING-FOR-005 still said nothing had run on Windows. - TODO.md: a "Start here: open handoffs" table at the very top (#168 desktop apps, #119 macOS). The stale Windows note is replaced. - WAITING-FOR.md: 005 closed with what happened. 006 (on or after 2026-11-01: does a winget Gemini update itself?) and 007 (a Windows machine without the Store, for #164) hold the remaining triggers. - The review brief records its final state at merge. - resumption-summaries/2026-10-26: this session. check-all.sh is red on this Mac on untouched main as well (8 Pester tests, $env:TEMP), filed as #169 and made #168's first task with #163. CI is unaffected.

Kurt asked to make this work transferable to a new AI or session, with a handoff issue and a note at the top of
TODO.md.Handoff: #168 is the single resume point for the desktop AI apps work after #162 and #165. It has the status, six ordered tasks, what needs Kurt, a file map, the reasoning, weak points, dated decisions (and what was decided against), and a "confirm the state first" block.
This PR:

check-all.shis red on a macOS host on untouchedmain(8 Pester tests from #165 need$env:TEMP, which only Windows sets). Filed as #169, and paired with #163 (red on a Windows host) as #168's task 1. CI runs those tests on Windows, so it is unaffected.Docs only; no script changes.
