Data is generated every minute, data that can have a value for companies, governments, and individuals. This is where data science is born, this is a discipline that is responsible for the collection, processing, and analysis of data, etc. This discipline mixes knowledge from areas such as mathematics and statistics, computer science and others. People interested in data science consider it very important to obtain this knowledge from a good book. However, around the world there are a considerable number of books on different topics, and data science is no exception. There are books of different sizes (# pages, dimensions), and prices. This can complicate the choice of a good book, many people think that the more expensive book is better, others think the opposite, and some others do not have a clear opinion about it. Therefore, we will use a dataset (Kaggle) of 946 books from amazon. We will compare the price, number of pages, # reviews, and the average number of stars received (1-5 stars) for these books, based on this data we will be analyzing if the more expensive the book is the better quality it has, if the price depends on the number of pages and if the more pages a book has the better quality it will be. It is important to highlight that when referring to quality it will depend on what parameters or what we consider quality, however in this case we will be taking as quality the average review (1-5 stars) as a parameter of quality, since like other products having a better average of stars means that the customer is satisfied and that translates to a quality product in this case the books. It is also worth mentioning that there are books in different languages but in this case, we will consider only English books and books that have at least one review.
