Brief summary
There is currently no "Presale assembly and validation" documentation for Gigabyte MZ33-AR1 under Ecosystem - Transparent Validation.
I currently have two MZ33-AR1 servers that need to be prepared for shipment, but there is no end-to-end procedure describing how to:
- assemble the complete server in the supported configuration,
- verify the hardware on stock firmware,
- flash Dasharo on a newly assembled unit,
- validate the final configuration before shipment.
Equivalent presale assembly and validation guides already exist for MSI PRO Z690-A and ASRock SPC741D8, so MZ33-AR1 should have the same type of documentation.
Additional context
There is already a Gigabyte MZ33-AR1 Lab Assembly guide, but it describes setting up a validation stand with RTE, Sonoff, etc., rather than assembling and preparing a complete server for shipment.
There are also separate Initial Deployment and Recovery pages, but the complete presale workflow is not documented in one place.
The Initial Deployment page currently states that initial Dasharo flashing is only possible with an external programmer, while the Recovery page also documents flashing via BMC. The presale guide should clarify which flashing method should be used for provisioning new MZ33-AR1 systems.
This is currently blocking preparation of two servers for shipment.
