User Guide

iOS (iPhone / iPad)

1. Open https://kingson4wu.github.io/GridSnap/ in Safari
2. Tap the Share button → "Add to Home Screen" to install (works offline)
3. Tap "Select Image" → pick a photo from your library
4. Choose a grid layout (3×3, 2×2, etc.) and aspect ratio
5. Use the rotation buttons (top-left / top-right) to fix orientation if needed
6. Pinch to zoom or drag to reposition the crop
7. Tap the save button → share sheet appears → choose "Save Image" or "Save to Files"
8. Upload tiles to Instagram in order (tile 1 first) — viewers swipe left to see the full image

Use Safari. Chrome and Firefox on iOS do not support PWA installation or the Web Share API.

Android

1. Open https://kingson4wu.github.io/GridSnap/ in Chrome
2. Accept the "Add to Home Screen" banner, or tap menu → "Install app"
3. Tap "Select Image" → pick a photo
4. Choose grid layout, aspect ratio, and adjust the crop
5. Tap save — tiles download to your Downloads folder automatically

Open https://kingson4wu.github.io/GridSnap/ in any modern browser. Tap save to download all tiles to your computer.

Tips

• Set ratio before cropping — changing it resets the crop position
• Rotation buttons appear at the top-left (CCW) and top-right (CW) of the crop area
• Each exported tile is 1080px wide, matching Instagram's recommended resolution
• All processing is local — photos never leave your device
