Search playlists in the add-to-playlist picker #924
The add-to-playlist picker (w on a track, W for the playing track) can only be browsed row by row and one folder at a time. With many playlists, or playlists spread across folders, finding the right destination means scrolling and opening folders one by one.
Your idea
Let the picker search playlists by name. Press / (the search key, as in the Help and Settings filters) to open a search line. As you type, the list narrows to matching editable playlists from every folder. Typed keys go only into the query, so q, j/k and global shortcuts don't fire. Enter keeps the query and a second Enter adds the track. Esc clears the query without closing the picker.
Alternatives
Scroll with j/k or jump with H/M/L, and open folders one at a time to look inside.

Summary
The reporter wants a way to search playlists by name in the add-to-playlist picker (opened with w on a track or W for the playing track). Today the picker can only be browsed one row and one folder at a time, so finding a destination among many playlists or nested folders is slow. The changelog does not show this as added yet.
Key points
The picker opens with w on a track and W for the playing track. Today it can only be browsed row by row, one folder at a time.
Proposal: / (the search key, as in the Help and Settings filters) opens a search line that narrows the list to matching editable playlists from every folder.
While typing, keys go only into the query, so q, j/k and global shortcuts do not fire.
Enter keeps the query and a second Enter adds the track. Esc clears the query without closing the picker.
Current workaround: j/k, H/M/L, and opening folders one by one.
Where to look
src/tui/handlers/dialog.rs: handle_add_to_playlist_picker handles the picker's keys: up/down, H/M/L, Enter into folders or to add, and q to close. A search mode would go here.
src/core/app/playlists.rs: playlist_picker_items builds the picker rows (folders and editable playlists) for the current folder. A filtered list across all folders would come from here.
src/tui/ui/popups.rs: Draws the AddTrackToPlaylistPicker dialog and its rows. A search line would need to be shown here.
