Digital storage network · Autocrafting · Wireless grids
Refined Storage is a digital storage network with a gentler learning curve than its rivals. Build a controller, run cables, attach drives, and every item in the network becomes one searchable grid. Add crafters and the network will autocraft anything it has a pattern for.
- Networked digital storage with a unified searchable grid interface
- Storage disks and external storage that indexes existing chests
- Autocrafting with pattern grids and crafting monitors
- Importers, exporters, filters, and network-wide item routing
- Wireless grid access, security cards and network multi-user support

Q: How do I start? A: Controller plus a disk drive, a storage disk, and a grid connected by cable — that is the minimum network.
Q: How does autocrafting work? A: Encode a pattern in the pattern grid, put it in a crafter, and request the item from any grid.
Q: Refined Storage or AE2? A: RS is simpler and has no channel management; AE2 is deeper and more demanding.
Q: Is it safe to add to an existing world? A: Yes in most cases — back the save up first, as you should with any mod addition.
Q: Can I use it in a public modpack? A: Yes. Both builds are modpack-ready and require no additional setup.
