1st scrum update for Saturday, May 23, 2020.

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

- Building up and brainstorming our project ideas.
- Checking possibility of using Facebook API
- Make a scratch website using Wordpress based on our ideas and drawing sketches

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• Give the user the ability to see the sub-tasks [Front-end]
• Give the user the ability to add/remove sub-tasks [Front-end]
• Give the user the ability to edit name and deadline of a task [Front-end]

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Investigated Instagram API for possible incorporation into the project.
• Created mock-up for "task/social feed", and "user overview", and "task display" components.
• Brainstormed app functionality ideas

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• Identifying ideas to differentiate our project from others of a similar nature
• Determining the feasibility of our project ideas.

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• Create “completed task” component for feed. [Frontend]
• Create “social” component for a completed task. [Frontend]

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• researching project ideas and eventually settling down on one with the group
• fleshing out the task idea and data we'll be working with
• prototype sketches for task creation and task feed

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• finding an idea we all wanted to work on
• api limitations which led to having to switch gears onto a new project idea

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

Task

• Creation of each task (as component)
• All the task data laid out and passed in
• Completion of the task (imagine it calls an API)

What did you work on this past iteration (2 weeks)?

• Met up (online) on Sunday to:
• Brainstormed potential project ideas (researched reddit API)
• Fleshed out the chosen idea, and created the MVP and extra specifications

What were any major issues/challenges you ran into?

• We had to kill off a project idea after research into the APIs that we would require. This put us in an awkward situation, and pushed us back.

What do you plan to work on for this coming iteration (2 weeks)?

• A meeting on Sunday (tomorrow from the time of writing this) to do subtask segmentation and plan out the lower level feature list that allows for better project management
• Decide on what the final UI will look like for all elements. Perhaps look into designating one person to take on the task, with feedback being administered per iteration. (Help move things along with less interference)
• Actually do some fun React shenanigans!

Tasks

• Create the UI/UX using the colour scheme picked
• Implement the React page flows according to UX and a nav bar

Our team will be working on creating exact subtasks for the feature list we created tomorrow during a meeting.

Therefore we do not have concrete tasks assigned as of yet, and explains our somewhat bare TODO plans.
