A structured Git & GitHub training course, written for DSC Cairo University. It covers version control from first principles through professional collaboration workflows, combining lecture-style notes with hands-on practices and larger "mega challenge" projects, culminating in a graduation project (build and deploy a personal portfolio site with GitHub Pages).
- 7 progressive sessions covering ~21 hours of material, from
git initto Git Flow, GitHub Actions, GitHub Pages, and submodules - 40+ hands-on practice exercises plus 4 mega challenges (Calculator, Blog App, Library Management System, Open Source Contribution)
- A graduation project spec: build and publish a portfolio site using branches, merges, conflict resolution, and GitHub Pages
- "Reduced" quick-reference versions of each session for fast review, interview prep, or handouts
- A community-themes section and demonstration Git submodules (
libs/normalize,libs/library)
- Markdown (course content and documentation)
- Git submodules (referencing
