Add a per-device Manual Text Size switch in Settings. Aa appears in the landscape, portrait and phone bars when this switch is enabled. Returning to automatic mode closes the ruler and clears the manually chosen scale. The phone’s remaining buttons expand into the available width, and menu fitting accounts for the hidden Aa button. The Spanish switch label is “Manualmente”.

This is the opt-in UI companion to #203. It is kept as a draft pending #203’s automatic minimum-size fitting. Automatic sizing is owned by that existing PR.

Validation

• Standalone Debug build for the generic iOS Simulator on Xcode 27.1 succeeded.
• The integrated device build succeeded and Tests/checks/run-all.sh passed.
• The landscape simulator showed Aa hidden with the switch off. The installed custom build combines this UI with automatic fitting and the existing keyboard and trackpad work from iPhone Duo: keep a Keyboard button in the laptop-mode bar while the software keyboard is up (#215) #220 and Option to use the stream picture as a relative trackpad (#178) #222.
