SimaoQuintela/README.md

Hi there 👋

I'm Simão Quintela, a software engineer from Portugal 🇵🇹 with a Computer Science background from the University of Minho, where I also did my Master's in Mathematics and Computer Science 💻

I build AI-powered products, mostly agents, MCP servers, retrieval/embeddings pipelines and full-stack web apps.

When I'm not coding, I like to play guitar and write my own songs. I'm a guitarist in a rock/metal band 🎸. I also love playing and watching football ⚽

🚀 Experience

  • 🏗️ Building products at AIO Studio
  • 🎮 Workflow Automation & AI Engineer at PlaySolana, the team behind the first handheld gaming console on Solana
    • Built local and remote MCP servers connecting AI agents to the PlaySolana ecosystem
    • Automated address confirmation and per-country tax and shipping payments for 10,000 orders
  • 💼 Full-Stack Developer at DTx
  • 🎓 Thesis on AI Agents and Layout Models
  • 🧑‍💼 Former President of NECC – Núcleo de Estudantes de Ciências da Computação

📚 Check out my University repository for everything I built during my degree.
