Delay on save/execute

With serious editting the constant saving (on every keypress) can cause some issues;
maybe a delay .. saving 500 miliseconds after the last keypress .. can help
This might also prevent the need for having to type a space to update the code?

I am now used to start a line with // (comments) and then type the complete code in that line, then removing the comments.
I presume that is why you added the Ctrl-K shortcut I spotted in the source code.

It actually has quite significant delay, 1 second or even more. I think I added it very long ago. Are you using version from Chrome Web Store?

I mean, delay is there for save, but not for execute. Execute happens instantly. If there's an error, there's a reddish background, which I personally find very convenient, because I can see it out of the corner of the eye, so I instantly know if there's still error in the code or not.

Could you explain a bit in more detail what you mean? Or is it already fixed for you and we should close this?

This is an open issue.
I haven't found the exact cause but every now and then I write code that completely stalls Cisar and the browser, and I have to force close the tab.
I think it has something to do with typing opening (round) brackets. (so suspect a regex involved)
Maybe an option (Ctrl + ??) to only do a live update on a newline or ctrl-Enter

Live refresh could be an option, yes, but I still need to fix the bug too. I think I now understand what you mean. I also experienced couple of times that the browser freezes completely and Chrome Task manager has to be used to kill the tab process, but I thought it was because I'm running extension in Developer mode and often debug the extension itself.

But ok, I'll try reproducing this then. If you get more information of how you can reproduce this bug reliably, please inform me right away.
