Hi @twotwoba , could you confirm which agent you're using to see that output? If it's the Zed agent, I think this is functionality that isn't supported in the ACP.

By default auggie won't request permission for any tools. If that's not what you want, tool permission can be configured by manually editing your settings file at ~/.augment/settings.json or using the /permissions command from within the command line version of the agent (started with auggie from the command line). For more info see our docs. Unfortunately the ACP doesn't provide the functionality we need to configure these from Zed itself.

Hi @twotwoba , my previous answer was incomplete: it's true that you'll first need to configure tool permissions if you want to enable this behavior in Auggie (by default we'll allow all edits), but this more advanced view is only supported if the agent implements the ACP file system capabilities. I've added a ticket to our backlog to track this, but unfortunately we have a lot on our plate so we're unlikely to be able to address it in the near future. When we do get around to it, though, I'll update here. Thanks!
