Bug: eqMac Goes Into Immediate Bypass When Apple's Music App Is Opened

• I have checked for a similar issue and sure it hasn't been reported before.

• I have enabled 'Beta'/'Beta Program' in eqMac settings and updated to latest version available at the time this issue is created.

**Machine specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7 2.6ghz
Graphics: Radeon Pro 5300M
Memory: 32GB
macOS version: Tahoe 26.3

Describe the bug
When starting the Music app eqMac goes into bypass mode.

When you try to re-enable eqMac the audio driver error pops up and then the app becomes unresponsive.

Either close Music and reenable eqMac with the bypass control slider to get it going again or restart the app. Either way Music interferes with eqMac working properly.

Setup information:

• Audio device used for playback: [eg AirPods or Macbook speaker or Bose QC32]
• Audio transmission interface: [eq HDMI or Bluetooth or 3.5mm Jack]
• macOS Version: [e.g. 10.15]
• eqMac Version [e.g. 0.0.1] (if audio related issue)
• eqMac UI Version [e.g. 0.0.4] (if UI related issue)

There could be something more specific happening on your device as I can't replicate this issue with eqMac and Apple's Music app. I would recommend going through eqMac account page online chat (contact us at the bottom left of account page), and include the whole crash file from console app for eqMac and or coreaudiod in the chat.

Yeah I was thinking that too. I went back to Sequoia and everything was fine. It most likely is an issue on Apple's side with the x86 version of Tahoe. Thank you for trying to recreate the issue.

Actually this happened to me using the new Airpods Max 2. Everytime I start Music the EqaMac turns on and off on and off without end.
I rolled back to the 1.8.12 version of the app and it is wok now.

My system is doing the same - but only when I set eqMac to open at log-in. Kicks to bypass, then, upon reopening, gives the message in read. Changed to not open at log-in, and the glitch went away.
