Apple typeface port (San Francisco and New York families) for Windows 10/11 and other non-Apple platforms.
This repository contains all weights and styles of the latest San Francisco typeface constituents in both OpenType Font (OTF) and TrueType Font (TTF) formats, which is version 8.0.1.1780517465, as of WWDC26. That said, Apple rarely makes changes to these fonts. For example, the New York typeface hasn't had any changes since WWDC22 (2022).
If you'd prefer not to download the entire repository, you can optionally choose to download the TrueType Font (TTF) files for each of the typeface constituents, which contain all of the font faces in a single, portable font file:
- Download full SF Pro variant (ttf)
- Download full SF Compact variant (ttf)
- Download full New York variant (ttf)
San Francisco is Apple's sans-serif typeface, introduced in 2014. It has been the system font for iOS, macOS, and watchOS, known for its high legibility across various text sizes and screen resolutions. The typeface family comprises three main variants:
- SF Pro: Optimized for iOS and macOS interfaces.
- SF Compact: A variant of SF Pro, tailored for watchOS.
- SF Mono: A monospaced variant of San Francisco.
This repository also includes all four of the SF script extensions. Like San Francisco, these extensions to the Apple system font feature nine weights, a rounded variant, and variable optical sizes that automatically adjust spacing and proportion based on the point size. Each script extension is designed to fit with SF Pro for multilingual typesetting, while respecting the natural proportions for each script by adjusting weight, contrast, and vertical metrics. The included SF script extensions are:
- SF Arabic: A contemporary interpretation of the Naskh style with a rational and flexible design.
- SF Armenian: Designed with proportions that have been adjusted for a better visual balance in multilingual typesetting.
- SF Georgian: Supports modern Georgian, Mkhedruli, and Mtavruli uppercase forms.
- SF Hebrew: With full support of the Niqqud diacritical marks.
New York is a serif typeface, introduced by Apple in 2019. It's a revival of the classic design, embodying the timeless traits of historical typefaces with a modern twist. The typeface pays homage to the early days of typography and is meticulously crafted for contemporary aesthetics and functionality.
