In SPDK issue 2683, SPDK incorrectly determines that an AMD iommu does not support virtual addressing. As a result, DAOS engines cannot run as non-root on an AMD server. Change DAOS to specify iova_mode = "va" when calling spdk_env_init() when running as non-root. This is a workaround until SPDK issue 2683 is fixed. Signed-off-by: Kevan Rehm <kevan.rehm@hpe.com>
During DTX preparing, if some related target is evicted for some reason, then the in processing DTX maybe failed and related client will resend the RPC with new DTX MBS (participants) information based on new pool map. On the other hand, the DTX on other healthy targets may has been prepared with old MBS information. Under such case, related RPC handler on server needs to process the resent RPC and refresh related DTX's MBS information (and the pool map version, flags if DTX leader is switched). Then the subsequent DTX RPC (such as commit, abort, check and refresh) can be sent to the right targets/participants. Signed-off-by: Fan Yong <fan.yong@hpe.com>
…16804) This patch marks all pool and container handles as if they were created with g2l in the child processes after fork. It prevents misinteractions if one of the child processes closes the handle. The marking is done by iterating through all the pool and container handles which was not supported by the hhash code. #16741) (#16740) During migration, the system xstream only wakes up in ds_migrate_query_status() (called by rebuild_tgt_status_check_ult()), where it sleeps for RBLD_CHECK_INTV (2 seconds).
