What happened?

The docs for the Claude Code integration reference an ingest pipeline and index template to add a reroute processor. This seems counter-intuitive to our recommendations to use @custom component templates. Would it be better to replace the index template example with directions to add the settings/mappings to traces-claude_code@custom and traces-generic@custom component templates to ensure the managed templates are kept intact?
