Updates com.google.code.gson:gson from 2.12.1 to 2.14.0

Release notes

Sourced from com.google.code.gson:gson's releases.

Gson 2.14.0

What's Changed

  • Add type adapters for java.time classes by @eamonnmcmanus in google/gson#2948

    When the java.time API is available, Gson automatically can read and write instances of classes like Instant and Duration. The format it uses essentially freezes the JSON representation that ReflectiveTypeAdapterFactory established by default, based on the private fields of java.time classes. That's not a great representation, but it is understandable. Changing it to anything else would break compatibility with systems that are expecting the current format.

    With this change, Gson no longer tries to access private fields of these classes using reflection. So it is no longer necessary to run with --add-opens for these classes on recent JDKs.

  • Remove com.google.gson.graph by @eamonnmcmanus in google/gson#2990.

    This package was not part of any released artifact and depended on Gson internals in potentially problematic ways.

  • Validate that strings being parsed as integers consist of ASCII characters by @eamonnmcmanus in google/gson#2995

    Previously, strings could contain non-ASCII Unicode digits and still be parsed as integers. That's inconsistent with how JSON numbers are treated.

  • Fix duplicate key detection when first value is null by @andrewstellman in google/gson#3006

    This could potentially break code that was relying on the incorrect behaviour. For example, this JSON string was previously accepted but will no longer be: {"foo": null, "foo": bar}.

  • Remove Serializable from internal Type implementation classes. by @eamonnmcmanus in google/gson#3011

    The nested classes ParameterizedTypeImpl, GenericArrayTypeImpl, and WildcardTypeImpl in GsonTypes are implementations of the corresponding types (without Impl) in java.lang.reflect. For some reason, they were serializable, even though the java.lang.reflect implementations are not. Having unnecessarily serializable classes could conceivably have been a security problem if they were part of a larger exploit using serialization. (We do not consider this a likely scenario and do not suggest that you need to update Gson just to get this change.)

  • Add LegacyProtoTypeAdapterFactory. by @eamonnmcmanus in google/gson#3014

    This is not part of any released artifact, but may be of use when trying to fix code that is currently accessing the internals of protobuf classes via reflection.

  • Make AppendableWriter do flush and close if delegation object supports by @MukjepScarlet in google/gson#2925

Updates com.squareup.okhttp3:okhttp from 5.4.0 to 5.5.0

Changelog

Sourced from com.squareup.okhttp3:okhttp's changelog.

Version 5.5.0

2026-08-16

This release introduces opt-in support for [Encrypted Client Hello (ECH)]. This new feature improves user privacy by encrypting domain names in transit. With regular TLS, your coffee shop’s Wi-Fi router can see that you’re visiting wikipedia.com, but it cannot see which page you’re looking at. With ECH, the router observes only the IP address. This additional privacy is most effective on sites hosted by big CDNs because the IP address doesn’t imply a particular website.

This requires ECH support in the platform’s TLS stack. Today this is only Android 17 (API 37, released June 2026). When other TLS stacks add ECH support, we'll integrate them.

ECH took a lot of work to implement because the encryption keys are published over DNS in the [HTTPS resource record], and we needed to write new code to fetch these records. This release includes a major update to OkHttp’s DNS API: it now supports multiple resource record types (not just IP addresses!), asynchronous streaming results, and in-memory caching.

To opt in, you can use DnsOverHttps:

// DnsOverHttps itself uses OkHttpClient. Build both clients upon the
// same bootstrap client so they share a connection pool and dispatcher.
val bootstrapClient = OkHttpClient()
// This sample uses Cloudflare's 1.1.1.1 DnsOverHttps service.
val client = bootstrapClient.newBuilder()
.dns(DnsOverHttps.Builder()
.client(bootstrapClient)
.url("https://1.1.1.1/dns-query".toHttpUrl())
.build())
.build()

You could also opt in with our new AndroidDns API. Unfortunately, the privacy benefits of ECH are thwarted because its DNS queries are not encrypted by default.

// AndroidDns fetches the HTTPS DNS resource records necessary for ECH.
val client = OkHttpClient.Builder()
  .dns(AndroidDns())
  .build()
  • New: OkHttp artifacts are now signed with our [new signing key]. This project and three sibling projects ([Retrofit], [Okio], and [SQLDelight]) recently joined [the Commonhaus Foundation].
  • Fix: MockWebServer’s @StartStop annotation now supports @Nested JUnit 5 tests.
  • Fix: Our default TLS hostname verifier now reject hosts that fail IP canonicalization.
  • Fix: Closing a multipart part's sink no longer closes the entire request body.
  • Fix: Flush HTTP/1 request bodies before detaching the timeout. We had a bug where timeouts

Updates org.projectlombok:lombok from 1.18.32 to 1.18.48

Changelog

Sourced from org.projectlombok:lombok's changelog.

v1.18.48 (September 1st, 2026)

  • BREAKING CHANGE/BUGFIX: @Builder(builderClassName = "Builder") now generates an error, because the type names collide. #3857 (found after release)
  • PLATFORM: JDK27 support added #4072.
  • BUGFIX: @SneakyThrows usage on JDK26 no longer results in class files that require lombok.jar to be on the runtime classpath (which should not be neccessary). #4040.
  • FEATURE: New config key lombok.checkReturnValueAnnotation (values: none, lombok; default: none) lets lombok generate @lombok.CheckReturnValue on generated methods where the return value should not be ignored, such as @With methods and @Builder.build(). A future lombok release may flip the default to lombok. #4013.
  • PROMOTION: @SuperBuilder has been promoted to the main package. Otherwise, no changes have been made to the annotation. The old experimental annotation will remain for a few versions, at which point it will be marked as a deprecated annotation. Eventually it'll be removed. If you had lombok.config configuration for this annotation, the configuration keys for this feature have been renamed. #2209.
  • OLD-CRUFT: lombok.experimental.Wither and lombok.Delegate are deprecated remnants; these features were moved (to respectively lombok.With and lombok.experimental.Delegate over 5 years ago. They are now removed entirely. If your project is dependent on an older version of lombok which still has those; fret not, lombok still processes these annotations. It just no longer includes them in the jar.
  • FEATURE: CheckerFramework: Lombok now adds @SideEffectFree to constructors it makes if you have enabled checker framework via lombok.config.
  • BUGFIX: CheckerFramework: Lombok would add @SideEffectFree to the build() method of any generated builder, even if it is a builder for invoking a method; in that case, the side-effect-free nature of build() mirrors the side-effect-free nature of the method invocation you've built. Lombok now checks if the method it generated a builder for is side effect free / 'check return type'.

v1.18.46 (April 22nd, 2026)

  • PLATFORM: JDK26 support added #4019.
  • PLATFORM: Spring Tools Suite 5 supported #3985.
  • BUGFIX: @Jacksonized no longer stops generating @JsonProperty once an explicit @JsonIgnore annotations is encountered #4022.
  • BUGFIX: In eclipse, mixing @Jacksonized and fluent = true no longer causes the error com.fasterxml.jackson.annotation.JsonProperty is not a repeatable annotation interface. #3934.
  • BUGFIX: Some finishing touches for v1.18.44's support of Jackson3 #4004.

v1.18.44 (March 11th, 2026)

  • FEATURE: @Jacksonized now supports both Jackson2 and Jackson3; you'll get a warning until you configure which one (or even both!) you want lombok to generate. #3950.
  • BUGFIX: On JDK25, val and @ExtensionMethod could sometimes cause erroneous errors (in that you see errors but compilation succeeds anyway) using javac. #3947.
  • BUGFIX: @Jacksonized + fields marked transient would result in those transient fields being serialised which is surprising (and thus undesired) behaviour. #3936.

v1.18.42 (September 18th, 2025)

  • FEATURE: All the various @Log annotations now allow you to change their access level (they still default to private). #2280. Thanks to new contributor Liam Pace!
  • BUGFIX: Javadoc parsing was broken in Netbeans and ErrorProne for JDK25 #3940.

v1.18.40 (September 4th, 2025)

  • PLATFORM: JDK25 support added #3859.
  • BUGFIX: Recent versions of eclipse (or the eclipse-based java lang server for VSCode) caused java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Document does not match the AST. [Issue #3886](projectlombok/lombok#3886).
  • PERFORMANCE: @ExtensionMethod is now significantly faster [Issue #3866](projectlombok/lombok#3866).
  • BUGFIX: the command line config tool would emit incorrect output for nullity annotations. [Issue #3931](projectlombok/lombok#3931).
  • FEATURE: @Jacksonized @Accessors(fluent=true) automatically creates the relevant annotations such that Jackson correctly identifies fluent accessors. [Issue #3265](projectlombok/lombok#3265), [Issue #3270](projectlombok/lombok#3270).
  • IMPROBABLE BREAKING CHANGE: From versions 1.18.16 to 1.18.38, lombok automatically copies certain Jackson annotations (e.g., @JsonProperty) from fields to the corresponding accessors (getters/setters). However, it turned out to be harmful in certain situations. Thus, Lombok does not automatically copy those annotations any more. You can restore the old behavior using the config key lombok.copyJacksonAnnotationsToAccessors = true.

v1.18.38 (March 31st, 2025)

  • PLATFORM: JDK24 support added.
  • FEATURE: Lombok's nullity annotation now supports JSpecify out of the box, using config key jspecify.
  • BUGFIX: Recent eclipse releases would get you 'negative length' error. The bug had always been in lombok but didn't matter until recent releases. [Issue #3823](projectlombok/lombok#3823).
  • BUGFIX: The 'extract local variable' refactor script of VSCode wouldn't replace all occurrences if run on a method call to a lombok generated method. [Issue #3783](projectlombok/lombok#3783).

v1.18.36 (November 15th, 2024)

  • PLATFORM: JDK23 support added.
  • BUGFIX: Eclipse projects using the com.pro-crafting.tools:jasperreports-maven-plugin will now compile.

v1.18.34 (June 28th, 2024)

  • PLATFORM: Added support for Eclipse 2024-06; you'd get some NoSuchMethodError traces in your logs if using @Builder or @Singular prior to this fix. [Issue #3638](projectlombok/lombok#3638).
  • IMPROBABLE BREAKING CHANGE: Lombok now adds @lombok.Generated by default to methods and types it generates. This may result in accidentally increasing your test coverage percentage. [Issue #3667](projectlombok/lombok#3667).
  • IMPROBABLE BREAKING CHANGE: When lombok.config contains lombok.onX.flagUsage = WARNING, from now on warnings will actually be generated if onX is used.[Issue #2848](projectlombok/lombok#2848)
  • BUGFIX: When @SuperBuilder was used on a type with an generic array type, it would error wrong number of type arguments. [Issue #3694](projectlombok/lombok#3694).
  • FEATURE: Lombok generates javadoc for you for most of the methods it adds; with this release, javadoc is also added to generated constructors. [Issue #933](projectlombok/lombok#933).

3.11.1

Getting started

This new minor release of Ehcache 3 is the first new release under IBM ownership. It adds support for shared resource pools between unclustered caches. It also contains a fix for a hashing denial of service performance regression (#3268).

[!NOTE] Ehcache 3.11 with be the last minor release line to support Java 8. The next release line will advance the Java baseline to 17.

Ehcache 3.11.1 has been released to maven central under the following coordinates:

The grouped bump raised Guava 33.3.1-jre -> 33.7.2-jre, and Guava removed its
transitive com.google.code.findbugs:jsr305 dependency in 33.4.0. The SDK never
declared jsr305 directly and relied on that transitive for
javax.annotation.Nullable, used in 67 source files, so the bump broke
:lib:compileJava with 934 "cannot find symbol: class Nullable" errors.

Declare jsr305 explicitly (implementation scope, matching how it previously
reached the runtime classpath via Guava) to restore compilation. Full build
passes afterward (688 tests, 0 failures).
The grouped bump raised org.ehcache:ehcache 3.10.8 -> 3.12.0, but ehcache
3.11+ is compiled for Java 17 (class file version 61). The java_versions.yml
matrix runs this module's tests on JDK 8, where EhcacheCachingProvider fails
to load with UnsupportedClassVersionError (supports up to 52.0).

ehcache is testRuntimeOnly here, so consumers are unaffected; only the Java 8
CI leg breaks. Pin back to 3.10.8 (last Java 8-compatible line, same as main).
