[Bug]: Module provider RNDatePickerManager does not conform to RCTModuleProvider #940
Just moving to 5.0.12 fixed the issue for me. @pankajsoftyoi thanks!
FYI, 5.0.12 gives a hard crash for me on Expo 53 or 54, with iOS 26 sdk. 5.0.13 gives the "Module provider RNDatePickerManager does not conform to RCTModuleProvider" error
Reacted by Richard George - CPTO, Zhu Zhang, Dima Tretyak, FreshFish, Phan Huy, Mustafa MEDENi, Bohdan Ryzhko, bhawyanoorverma, Radek Rudnicki, tarouboy and 1 more

Bug: Module provider RNDatePickerManager does not conform to RCTModuleProvider (#940)
The issue appears with the following setup:
"react-native": "0.84.1"
Package behavior:
"react-native-date-picker": "^5.0.13" → ❌ Throws error: Module provider RNDatePickerManager does not conform to RCTModuleProvider
"react-native-date-picker": "^5.0.12" → ✅ Works correctly
By default, patch-package completely ignores any changes made to package.json files inside node_modules
Append the --exclude flag with the value "nothing" to your terminal command. This clears the default block list and forces the tool to check every file:

For npm/ yarn:
5.0.12 works for me. By default ^5.0.13 was installed. After downgrade to 5.0.12 it's working for me.

RN 0.81.4 5.0.13 works on Android but fails on iOS 26
Downgraded as suggested by @dedene and it is working
jmmgreg commentedon Oct 16, 2025
Using RN 0.82, both 5.0.12 and 5.0.13 have the error Module provider RNDatePickerManager does not conform to RCTModuleProvider
jmmgreg commentedon Oct 16, 2025
That PR fixed the issue for me on iOS with RN 0.82

Not sure how can I apply the patch ?
loiclouvet commentedon Jan 15, 2026
You can use patch-package or built-in pnpm or yarn patch commands if you are using one of them.
joix97b commentedon Jan 27, 2026
@mmdjiji you need to do "5.0.12" not "^5.0.12"
ajtosh77 commentedon Feb 18, 2026
I was locking my version to 5.0.12 for awhile, but since it never seems to be getting fixed--I decided to switch.
