Not sure if there is an appetite for this, or whether it is best kept as a fork as it is unsupported by Dropbox themselves - however, I have created a version of this container which also runs the dropbox-filesystem-fix patch integrated. I think the code could be improved, but I have this working here as I wanted to sync to an NFS share. I'm aware there are risks, but I am happy with them.
