  • The pull request is targeting the dev branch.
  • All tests passed. If this feature is not already covered by the tests, I added new tests.

Widen the VSIX installation target so the extension installs on Visual Studio 2026 (18.x) in addition to Visual Studio 2022 (17.x).

Changes

File Change
JFrogVSExtension/source.extension.vsixmanifest InstallationTarget version range [17.0,18.0) is now [17.0,19.0)
README.md Supported targets row now reads "Visual Studio 2022, 2026"

No code changes. The extension still builds against the 17.x SDK, which Visual Studio 2026 loads.

Verification

Tested on Visual Studio Community 2026 (18.10) in a Windows 11 ARM VM.

Check Result
Baseline VSIX ([17.0,18.0)) installs Fails with NoApplicableSKUsException
Build with [17.0,19.0) Succeeds, with 0 errors
Install the new VSIX Installs and the extension loads. See the note on the ARM64 target below
Unit tests 5 passed, 0 failed

Bump the bundled JFrog CLI to 2.126.0 so .slnx solutions are detected,
run the 17.x CI legs on windows-2022 with quoted versions, and fix the
README badge alt text.
