For quite a while now I always get the same fact and clicking on the refresh arrow does not bring up a new cat fact. I'm stuck on the following fact.
Cat facts was working just fine couple of months ago when I first installed it. Unfortunately, i cannot specify the exact period or circumstances when it stopped working. I already tried reinstalling without any effect. journalctl only logs the following

OS: elementary OS 6.1 Jólnir x86_64
installed via AppCenter
abroot is probably its killer feature but also apx and the other components, the project is a bit weird compared to elementary os. We don't use vala/granite/etc.. we use Go/Py/the Vanilla OS SDK and GTK. Have a read for more details: https://vanillaos.org/blog
@mirkobrombin since you were last active here, wanted to see if you could take a look at pr #20 and provide any feedback. I tested locally and it seems to work fine. I didn't touch anything related to packaging though.

Hi, cool!
What distro are you on now?
jgarte commentedon Sep 19, 2024
Oh, I see Vanilla OS?
A good friend of mine just installed Vanilla OS and has been sharing/demoing its virtues 🐱

yeah vanilla os :D
jgarte commentedon Sep 19, 2024
what do you think is the killer feature of vanilla os over elementaryos?
Do you still use vala/elementarysdk-based apps on vanilla os or something else?
