PHP 8.6 compatibility: Macro EMPTY_SWITCH_DEFAULT_CASE was removed It is defined for PHP 8.0-8.5 in Zend/zend_portability.h as #define EMPTY_SWITCH_DEFAULT_CASE() default: ZEND_UNREACHABLE(); break; The original commit adding it to php-src was 92c4b06, the commit finally removing it was commit 04f06e8.
