mpv crashes immediately when playing media files directly from a network path (UNC/network share) in Portable version

Describe the bug
When trying to play a perfectly normal media file located on a network path (e.g., \network-storage\folder\video.mp4) using the latest SMPlayer Portable, mpv crashes immediately with the error message: "mpv has finished unexpectedly. Please check the log for more information."

2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

This bug goes back at least several releases. I downgraded to 25.6.0.10415 which is fine.

Gemini: "The bug specifically triggers because SMPlayer treats the leading double-backslash (\) of a network path incorrectly, chopping it down to a single backslash (\orange\Videos...). Because Windows rejects a single-backslash path as an invalid argument, the engine chokes instantly."

I've the same problem on Windows 11 using non-portable version. Is this bug ever gonna be fixed at all?
