📋 Prerequisites

• Python 3.11+
• PostgreSQL
• pip (Python package manager)

🚀 Installation

1. Clone the Repository

git clone https://github.com/sunnakh/upstyle.git
cd upstyle

2. Install Dependencies

pip install -e .

3. Database Setup

Create PostgreSQL database:

createdb upstyle

Update database credentials in app/core/config.py if needed.

4. Run the Application

Start Backend:

python run.py

Backend will run on http://localhost:8000

Start Frontend (in a new terminal):

cd frontend
python server.py

Frontend will run on http://localhost:3000

📖 Usage

1. Open http://localhost:3000 in your browser
2. Sign up for a new account (User or Maker)
3. Complete your profile
4. Start adding items to your wardrobe
5. Browse your collection by category
6. Track your upstyled items
