**Plugins** — follow the [plugin management documentation](../../../docs/developer/development-environment.md#plugin-management) for the available plugins and their behavior.

`katello` and `foreman_remote_execution` are always deployed, so do not offer them as plugin options and do not pass them on the command line.

Take the selectable plugins from the `choices` list in `development/playbooks/deploy-dev/metadata.obsah.yaml` rather than hardcoding them. Show the user all of them. If the answer names a plugin that is not in `choices`, ask again instead of passing it through.

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win

Exclude always-deployed plugins from the displayed choices.

The metadata choices list includes foreman_remote_execution, but Line 62 says not to offer it. Filter always-deployed plugins out before showing the choices, and validate selections against that filtered list.

Review comment at @.agents/skills/dev-setup/SKILL.md at line 64:
Update the plugin-choice handling that reads the metadata choices list to
exclude always-deployed plugins before displaying options, and validate user
selections against that filtered list so excluded plugins are rejected.

@arvind4501 Yes. Removing foreman_remote_execution from the metadata choices list is a cleaner fix than filtering it only in the skill.

The role already includes it in foreman_development_default_plugins. The deployment tasks concatenate default plugins with user-selected plugins, so passing it explicitly causes duplicate processing. Removing it from choices does not remove it from the default deployment.

Keep its default entry and plugin registry entry. Also update the “Enable all available plugins” example in docs/developer/development-environment.md, which currently passes it explicitly.

Compatibility note: Removing the choice will reject existing commands that pass --foreman-development-enabled-plugin foreman_remote_execution. If you need to preserve those commands, filter the skill’s displayed options instead.
