[autohub-codex]

AutoMem’s first-time setup has two independent decisions: where the service runs and where the embedding model runs. This concept starts with a route picker for Local Docker, Hosted Cloud, or an Existing Endpoint, then shows the chosen path’s requirements and command.

This is concept A of three for comparison on Cloudflare Pages. Hold for a combined onboarding PR after review.

Explainer treatment · 25 seconds

1. 0–7s — Open on the three route cards. Select Local Docker, then Hosted Cloud, and show the command and prerequisites change.
2. 7–17s — Keep the chosen server in place while the model moves from that machine to an API. Caption: “Local models use your hardware. Hosted models process the text you send.”
3. 17–25s — Land on the command and the first store-and-recall check. Show how to use an existing endpoint as the shortcut.

Validation

Node 24 test suite, Pages production build, and route switching at desktop and mobile widths. The browser preview is linked by the Cloudflare Pages check.
