Is there a reason to install dhclient in the rockylinux-9 warewulf-node-image?

  1. dhclient is deprecated as of 2022
  2. NetworkManager provides it's own dhcp client
  3. systemd-networkd provides it's own dhcp client
  4. Node deployment without the package works fine

I'm uncertain where else dhclient is installed but this suggestion might be valid elsewhere

    Have you tested removing it from the container and building it then deploying it yourself?

    Yes I'm able to deploy an image and the warewulf server assigns it an IP address.
