When editing overlays, the opacity settings are not saved in the Edit Overlay dialogue box.

Can you provide an example? Out of the box I cannot reproduce this.

For example, if you download the waypoint list from NV-Verlag (.gpx) or the list of anchor buoys from the Danish Touring Sailors' Association (.geojson) and load them as overlays in AvNav, you cannot adjust the opacity for either display.
In the Edit Overlay dialog, you can set the opacity to a different value. However, after saving, the dialog reverts to the old value. Clicking “Show Text” or changing the colors for icons, on the other hand, works in the same dialog.

Basically we found this to be a misunderstanding. The opacity needs to be in the range 0...1. The correction will provide a better UI, giving help, 0.1 increment, a range check and reset.

Don't know if related or same issue, but on 20250822 the overlay opacity is stored but has no effect. I set it like this

but the overlay opatcity still is 100%.
